March 8th 3:19pm - Case # 4075731 - Petty Theft - Suspect was caught red handed by store associate. LP officer was alerted and escorted suspect to backroom LP office. Upon checking suspects person, there seemed to be enough cash to pay for the item. After finding out more on the motives for stealing, LP officer laid down the law in hopes the thief would never steal again. Evidence logged on Mar 8, 2017. March 22nd 11:13am - Case #3724075 - Petty Theft - Suspect initially denied LP officer's charge of theft. Suspect was apprehended to backroom and was asked to wait. Suspect attempts to walk out of backroom and is directed to return to her seat. Upon more questioning, suspect begins to realize the evidence is insurmountable and complies with strip search. Suspect becomes very cooperative during resolution discussions with LP officer. Evidence logged on March 22, 2017. November 15th 4:17pm - Case # 6998421 - Suspect and father of suspect were apprehended on suspicion of theft. Father negotiated with LP officer for a one time pardon pending daughter's cooperation. Contingency was met and infraction was absolved. Evidence logged on Nov 15, 2017. November 8th 6:12pm - Case # 3667862 - Suspect was immediately recognized by LP officer on CCTV even though a disguise was worn. This was not the suspect's first offense. Suspect was taken to back room for questioning, but was familiar to LP officer tactics so stayed quiet. Suspect was put through the usual Shoplyfter treatment, this time a bit more intrusive to hopefully deter suspect from ever attempting to commit a crime ever again. Evidence logged on Nov 8, 2017.
